Manchester City and Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has claimed that he is bored of playing Wales in international matches Belgium and Wales have found themselves placed in the same groups often, with De Bruyne lamenting the tiring nature of facing the same side The latest meeting between the two saw De Bruyne score once and assist once to help his side to a 2-1 victory
But the midfielder has appeared to send a subtle dig at UEFA claiming that his Belgium side always plays Wales.
Daily Mail reports that Belgium and Wales have faced each other nine times in the last ten years. A good number of these fixtures have come in the last two years as both sides were in the same qualification groups for World Cup and Nations League.
The Manchester City star is part of the golden generation Belgian side that will have their last shot at silverware at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The Red Devils will face 2018 finalists Croatia, Canada and Morocco in Group F.
