Young Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif, real name Mohammed Ismail Sheriff, has received his second BET nomination.
At the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards, Black Sherif has been nominated in the Best International Flow category.
Black Sherif will compete for the honor against nine other rappers. Aka and K.O from South Africa, as well as Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe, are his competitors.
Gazo (France), Central Cee (UK), J Hus (UK), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil) are the other nominees.
On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, the show will be taped in Atlanta.
Black Sherif received his first nomination for the ‘Best International Flow’ Award last year, but Benjamin Epps won it.
He shared the ‘Best International Flow’ nomination at the 2022 edition of the illustrious awards program with Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
BET promises that “the telecast will salute 50 years of hip-hop with not-to-be-missed moments and performances.”
